If you had merely told us about this, I would have felt nothing, but looking at a photograph of the poor little thing, I feel kind of sorry for it. Mind you, if a creature like that appeared in my home, I would flip my lid. Another reminder of why I should never go to Thailand. π
I would freak if I saw one of those in the house. I am a Northerner. I can deal with cold and snow and ice: I do not deal well with creepy crawly things.
Well, yeah, unfortunately. If you know it escaped to another location within the house, that totally sucks. How can anyone live that way? I don’t understand.
No, it’s excellent advice. I am a 5’5, middle aged woman who is afraid of small bugs. Becoming an international man of mystery is a not a good idea for me, I don’t think, and you are 1000% right to advise against it π
LOL π I possess no hand-to-hand combat skills whatsoever. My younger brother claims that I once bashed his head repeatedly into the dry sink when I was 10 and he was 7. I can neither confirm nor deny that claim: it might have happened. He bit my arm. He says that he had to do that to stop me from bashing his head into the dry sink. That is the only combat experience I have, and I was bigger than him at the time, so I don’t think it counts. π
I suspect that I am being wrongly accused here, but I can’t prove it. I am pretty sure that you are the one who started talking about IMOM s/L2K, not me, but this is a very long thread, and I am very tired, so I can’t prove it. π

I knew it escaped outside of my house otherwise at least one of us would be dead right now.

If I see a snake and don’t kill it immediately, it is a loss as far as I am concerned.
