    1. Well, there is that saying about catching more flies with honey than with vinegar. With her attitude, she put you in an impossible position.

      1. See, feminism is just bad manners. Women have always asked men for things. That’s ok, as long as you say please and thank you, and as long as you can accept that the answer might be no. All women ask men to do things for them: feminists are rude about it, and when men object to their rudeness, feminists claim that they are being oppressed by men.

    1. Chicken hawks are a dying breed. There are still way too many of them, but they are dying out and fading away. They are too stupid to live.

    2. And, any woman who supports a war is a chicken hawk. Unfortunately, I have been guilty of this. Back when I was younger and more stupid, I supported the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq: I didn’t understand the difference between supporting the troops and supporting the wars. I thought that in order to support the troops, I had to argue in favor of the wars. I wish that someone had told me to keep my mouth shut.

Women should keep our mouths shut when it comes to war. We shouldn’t be telling men to go or to not go to war. We should honor the troops, and beyond that, just stay out of it.

      1. Liz told me that her contributions as a taxpayer where the equivalent of mine because I could not have accomplished my missions without the toys her tax dollars purchased for the DOD. Admittedly, I never was able to wrap my brain around that.

      2. More than a few of my Blackwater buddies used to do R&R in Thailand between contracts. When their money started running low they would do another gig in Afghanistan.

      3. You have seen how powerless even I am in the face of female bullies. No GD it, you don’t always have to believe the woman. Pro tip: Women lie too!

      4. It’s turning around, Simon. It’s getting better. Have you paid any attention to the trial between Johnny Depp and his ex wife Amber Heard?

      5. Ok, they are divorced now, but in the course of their getting divorced, she publicly accused him of being a wife beater. So, he is suing her for defamation, and he is destroying her in court. She has been proven to be a liar many times over, and it’s not over yet. A defamation case is extremely difficult to win, and he may not technically win the case, but he has proven her to be a liar, and he is changing the course of Western Civilization. It’s really cool to watch.

      6. Thank God that hope springs eternal. The only reason any of us are here at all is because hope springs eternal. If it were not so, the human race never would have made it past the stone age.

      7. Don’t dwell on negative people, Simon. When you dwell on them, you are channeling them. Don’t let the bastards get you down, don’t even think about them at all. πŸ™‚

    3. I am astounded when I look back on my life by how stupid I was when I was younger, and I think I was much smarter than most young women are. But not as smart as I would like. I was so clueless, I could have easily ended up married to a chicken hawk, but God, in His infinite mercy and kindness, brought Robin to me. Robin was never in the military, and never fought in a war, but he was so much smarter than me, and he was never a chicken hawk. At the time the Iraq war started, he was in a bar with a bunch of guys who were cheering it on. None of them had any intention of fighting, but they were cheering it on. Robin was not cheering it on. I wasn’t there, but knowing Robin, he probably just stayed silent and looked at them. I am pretty sure that at some point, one of them asked Robin what he thought. He told them in the nicest possible way that they had no idea what they were talking about. I am paraphrasing here, but he basically said, “You guys all think that America will be in and out of this war in a matter of months. It won’t go down that way. We are going to be there for at least 20 years, and probably more like 50 years.” They all just looked at him and said nothing. Unfortunately, as usual, Robin was correct.

Robin lived in Scotland until the age of 40, and he never supported the English presence in Northern Ireland, but he always supported the troops. He always gave first dibs on any job to military guys. He had tremendous respect for them, even though he may have disagreed with them politically. I am not saying that all men have to join the military: I am definitely not saying that all men have to fight in every war the politicians get us into. What I am saying, is that men need to think about these things a lot more than do right now.

      1. Yes, and they are doing it on purpose, but We the normal non-intellectual people are not totally innocent by any means. We all want more money now, and putting women into high power, high money careers seems like a good way to achieve that goal. The intellectuals appeal to greed, and it’s very effective.
