“faithfully”…her choice of that word suggests to me what I think of as the ballast of society. It doesn’t matter if the elites go by-shit crazy, as they’ve done in this country, IF you have the great mass of the people sharing values and living according to them . Nixon’s “silent majority”.
What I’m afraid of is: we don’t have that any more. Because of the revolution;in communications, everybody is bombarded with information, good, bad, or irrelevant. All the time. A cacaphony which is driving everybody insane. I hope I’m wrong.
