Very very few Catholic colleges are really Catholic: as far as I know, none of the big Catholic universities are Catholic. This guy at Georgetown is receiving accolades from all the right people both in and out of the Church. Meanwhile, Father Frank Pavone, who has dedicated his life to ending abortion, has been kicked out of the priesthood, because he called Joe Biden a loser.
All religious faiths have some corrupt leaders, but corrupt Catholic leaders are far and away the weirdest. There are so many good priests, but the good ones don’t seem to get promoted very often. Why is that?
