Your Third Amendment Rights

Yesterday Mayor Adam’s of New York City, overwhelmed by the number of illegals taking him up on the city’s offer of “sanctuary”, announced that the city will begin paying private individuals to house the invaders.
The Bill of Rights, Amendment III, prohibits quartering soldiers in civilian homes in peacetime without the homeowners’ consent, and prohibits it in times of war, except as directed by the legislature. (So contrary to what you may have heard—IF you’ve heard of the Third Amendment at all—troops CAN be billeted on us in wartime, it’s just, a law has to be passed about it first.)

My question for you: are we, now, in peacetime or wartime?

From where I sit, it looks like the Left is importing a standing army of military age men, noncitizens. They are the mercenary shock troops of the overthrow of the U.S.

Oh sure, the city or state govt of New York will pay these homeowners or apartment dwellers rent for housing the illegals, and, it’s voluntary—for now.

But let’s review: a few weeks ago we heard that paying guests were being cancelled by hotels in New York because the hotels had been ordered to house illegal immigrants.

Once your tiny city apartment has been used as a BnB, do you think the govt will ever let you reclaim it? No they won’t, because the fact is NYC is being flooded with illegals and there simply is no place for them to live. The city government cannot afford to let anybody go back on their “voluntary” experiment.

oh, this is too good! This is beyond the Left’s wildest dreams for destruction of private property rights! The government is now actually commandeering citizens’ private homes. It’s just like Russia 1917. Слава!

  1. Before all of this happened, when President Trump was in office and building the wall, I figured that we could talk about giving illegals amnesty, once the wall was completed. Not anymore. I want all illegals deported post haste. Many or most Americans agree on that.

  2. I remember back in the day that community standards were strictly enforced by the civilian population and everybody seemed to get along for the most part.

  3. 2012 marked the end of an old era and the beginning a new one. Obama was in the oval office at that time. The last thing he said before leaving the white house was that we had focus on the transgender issue. Biden took up where he left off. So far, the beginning of this “new era” is being run by the inmates of the insane asylum. Not happy about it, either.

  4. I just read sump’n awful: can it really be true that 20% of people born after 1997 consider themselves LGBTQ? Of courses if it is true a lot of it is due to the fact that they’ve grown up thinking it’s cool. But still….😱
