Soup Served Cold

Never heard of it and there I was trying to eat it with a fork in my “Charlies” at the Ambo’s residence. The US Congressman I was escorting had told me that our Ambassador’s wife and our gracious hostess had tried to disinvite me but Congressman X had over ridden Her veto.

Cold soup is not my cup of tea krap

  1. Do you remember if they called it vicheswa or gespacho? I worked as a waitress in a very fancy club for rich people one summer, and they served cold soup there, under the two names just named. I served it often, but never tried it 🙂

    1. I don’t believe anyone put a name to it, however I may have missed it; was concerned with another territorist attack and not paying 100% attention to the convo krap

      1. Yes, but they still hate men in uniform. They want to replace all the men in uniform with women or men who dress like women. So, they still hate you. That has not changed.

  2. Ah, gazpacho! Here we only serve it on hot summer days. But we were in Southern Spain in January a few years ago, 40 degrees, spitting cold rain—and cold creamy gazpacho was all you could get. They were like in total denial about winter. I’da killed for some hot Caldo Gallego.
