Pearl Harbor Day

There are so many horrible things happening and coming to light right now. I keep hearing the word “unforgivable.” As in, what Hamas did to Israel on Oct 7 is unforgivable, child trafficking is unforgivable, etc… I just feel compelled to say, that according to Jesus, blaspheming the Holy Spirit is the only unforgivable sin. As far as I know, no one really knows what blaspheming the Holy Spirit would entail. Which is to say, no one on is beyond redemption. No one is so far gone that they can’t turn it around.

Case in point: the man who led the attack on Pearl Harbor ended up becoming a Christian Evangelist after the war. We live in dark times, but I really wish that people would stop using the word “unforgivable.” Where there is life, there is hope.
