Whooooo hooo! The excitement is palpable. FINALLY a new, young(er) face, a fresh start! Who can resist-let yourself be carried high on the powerful, inexorable tide! Why, this is about HISTORY!
Except if course, Hapless isn’t a new face, we’ve been laughing at her for over 3 years, and just a few months ago even Dementocrats were saying SHE should be the one to leave the ticket! And after Ol’Jo[k]e’s horrifying implosion on June 27, nobody mentioned HER name for weeks, even though under the Constitution she as VP is the official who should have initiated 25th Amendment proceedings. (AND, let’s not forget, she should be doing it NOW. Incredibly, Ol’ Bygone is STILL our President. Why isn’t everybody scared outta their minds about THAT? )
The Dementocrats kept reciting the mantra of “going forward,”. But what struck me is how quaint and old-fashioned their themes are. The “glass ceiling”? “corporate greed”? Trump’s “billionaire Wall Street friends”? I feel like I’m back in college in the ‘70s. We’ve been here, done this, ages ago.
It’s on a par with their pretending the Civil Rights era never happened. Oh riiight, America is THE most racist country EVER!!—even though any kinda racial discrimination has been illegal, criminally and civilly punishable, for over 60 years now.
No, when the Dems say “freedom” they mean only one thing: abortion. When Walz said “Mind your own damn business!” That woulda really resonated with me IF I thought he was talking about surveillance of our citizens, control of our social media, decreased regulation—but he wasn’t, of course.
The fact is if Hapless wins, we will have only ONE “freedom” left: the freedom to terminate pregnancies. Thats like in Hitler’s death camps: prisoners had only one “right”: to commit suicide. Guards were instructed to scrupulously respect their right to kill themselves. (And why anyone, except young fertile women, cares about abortion”rights” is a mystery to me. Why do ANY men care, one way or the other? Why do women who won’t be bearing children or more children, give a crap about the issue? I don’t, in case you haven’t figgered that out.)
Another example of the Dems agitating for “change” that, um, has already transpired: those women parading around in Chicago dressed as abortion pills. Try to keep up, ladies! The Supreme Court just upheld your access to Mifepristone, now used in the vast majority of all abortions. It’s OVER, you won! What a shame you wasted all that time and effort making those big lumpy round stuffed pill costumes—or wait: is that just your actual body shape?
So whaddya think, dear interlocutors?
DO we get fooled again, by the same tired ol’ slogans aimed at correcting social problems we actually solved long ago?
I’m afraid it might happen.
Pray for our Don! They tried to kill him once; may he live on, and restore our peace and prosperity.
Another good thing about not living in America is not being bombarded constantly by MSM propaganda. It is almost as if one can more clearly observe the demise of both the US Constitution and American way of life without the able aid and helpful assistance of journalists trained by and educated at US tax payer funded universities.
