The Day After

…Thanksgiving. Whew! I had 13 people at the table—actually, I had to sit off to the side, 12 is the max for my table— but that’s okay, I was so up and down anyway, and nobody was there whom I coulda spared. I was up at like 6 AM baking the pies. Oh and we woke up to SNOW!

WHAT a holiday! Especially THIS year, when Santa Claus a/k/a Trump, is coming to town soon! Nobody talked about politics, we all knew where we stood….but for the Rightly -Guided among us, the relief and anticipation infused our mood, though we didn’t wanna gloat, gracious in victory😌.

Trump will take office freighted with so many expectations: fix the border! Deport the invaders! Recognize womanhood! Make patriotism socially acceptable again! Can he really DO all this? Could ANYBODY? He’s like a great gleaming ship setting off loaded with all our hopes and dreams. I’m kinda afraid for him. God keep him—and I literally mean please God dont let anybody kill him, and keep him on the path we chose in choosing him.

I hope Simon and the Ettes and all our readers had a wonderful feast yesterday! ONWARD to a Merry Christmas!
