I wanted to say “no!” But I find I’m not too sure what point the commenter is making…what do you think he/she means?

She started the thread by saying President Trump’s supporters are all low IQ rednecks by pointing out to us that we are too dumb to realize that Cleopatra was sub-Saharan.
This guy, I think, was merely stating his truth but his truth is offensive to the mothers of America so he got blasted by X’s mods as a warning to others that painful truths are not to be tolerated.
We may become a failed state sooner than our children can imagine.

Sigh. All four of my grandparents came from Ireland. Meaning, all of my ancestors, including the fairly recent ones, lived in potato bogs and were pretty much illiterate. Since when does anyone, especially an American, have to come from royalty in order to be proud of where we come from?
My ancestors survived unbelievable hardship. The same is true of those whose ancestors came from Africa. Teh same is true of 99.9% of everyone alive on planet Earth today. The vast majority of us are the descendants of illiterate peasants, and we should be proud as hell of that.
