This is another video about purgatory, from a different saint, who has apparently been called the ultimate authority on Purgatory by Church fathers. This vision of purgatory is very different from the one shown in my previous post. Here, purgatory is described as a place of incredible love and joy-the only suffering is the suffering caused by being temporarily separated from God.

Wholeheartedly agree, JaC! The Church’s understanding of Purgatory focuses more on healing wounds and mercy, rather than the task of making satisfaction to justice. This fits with our knowledge of God as Love Itself, as St. John reminded us. Hugs to you, Hyp!
