No profound or practical point to make just an interesting news article about a fairly recent cultural development taking place within Thailand’s teenagers.

Apparently 15-20 years ago it became necessary for the Thais to come up with a slang word to identify the sexy, fearless, pierced big/ hoop earrings, tube top wearing, tattooed babe, riding and looking hot on the back of a motorbike. I just learned this word and felt the need to share.

It is skoy (sakoi?) or in Thai: สก๊อย

Funny thing, I asked Mr. Google to translate สก๊อย / skoy for me and he told me skirt the first time and scramble the second time. It kind of does make sense – I think?
