Frugality is a cause of peace of mind and future enjoyment, yes? How wonderful to be planting outside in December! My hazel eyes are becoming slightly more green, hermano.
Gonna get some sleep; always enjoyable to hang out with you and the other Simonettes: Muchisimas! Buenas tardes to you; Buenas noches to the Stateside contingent. Peace be in and with us all! Chao for now. I’ll be around later…..
This style of guardening is for Scots-Americans only. The great thing is that you invest no money into the purchase of seeds.

Are tomatoes part of Thai cuisine, in general, or mainly for Western-style cooking? (Not meant to be irritating, I ask out of interest.)

Here it is a very spicy dish. I told the guy making mine to throw in a half dozen or so hot peppers. He did. It was just right.

Amping up the other flavors, putting heat in the background, but not eliminating it would probably work well for me – and still be totes yummy.
