When the Devil Leaves You Alone

My pastor told me that Satan does not interfere in the lives of so-called Christians who show no signs of being followers of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.

Our little blog-site has been and continues to be noticed and probed by mohammedans.

I wonder if the same can be said for either legacy site?

  1. There was one on L1, with whom I used to interact quite a bit. Z—-r. Tailed me for miles on my post Menu Multiculturalism in the Global Village Café, (which I was thrilled to discover can still be read online. ). Gay, too. I mean how is that possible? But L2, no, I don’t think so, Altho we do have some Mormons, y’know: “the Islam of America” as Joseph Smith said.
But how do you know they’re “noticing and probing” (sounds like an alien abduction!) us here on ST? Hope I wasn’t outta line in the 1099 post…..

    1. Hyp, I recall a very fruitful WEEK of discussion among ST, Kate B., Z, and myself on a post of hers re: Europe’s unpreparedness for the numbers of very-difficult-to-assimilate individuals. (That’s how L1 used to roll.) Z is a Muslim who’s made choices about the intensity of his identity and practice has from very early on. He is enamored of the ability to think/speak/associate in places that align themselves with various aspects of the Enlightenment, fair dinkum.

      1. Yuh, I kinda liked him. He was fun to debate. About Rev B, I liked her too but I was blown away one Eastertide when she said the Resurrection “didn’t do much for her”. Wha’?! Isn’t that what you NEED religion for? Anybody can get through their three score and ten, but…then what?

      2. I still consider KB a colleague and friend: She’s quite unsettled by the UU (her denom) stance on life issues – and several theo-political disagreements have put her in their cross-hairs. Recall that Emerson -UU founder, discounted the Resurrection, too. KB has gone dark at L1; I’ll speak with her this wknd. I hope. She’s on a journey, Hyp. hold her – and Z. – in prayer, ‘k?

      3. Thank you! KB and I both are fluent in “chaplainese’, which is quite different from, but related to ‘pastorese’. Chaplains don’t always use traditional religious concepts/language, either. Even I shock people sometimes, lol

    2. You can never be out of line when forwarding liberty and freedom. Please do not worry about what you post or comment here on ST Unleashed! Except for DeNanda who is always on thin ice.

To be specific, your 1099 post is simply marvelous.

    3. For one, a mohammedan recently commented on my Islam is a satanic cult OP and went on to invite me to follow him over to his blog-site so that he and his mob could (figuratively speaking I hope) decapitate my ass.

I will tell ya’ll about the other probes via separate correspondence.

      1. Me neither (Hyp). ST, you have to let the Ettes know when these things happen. Sometimes, even chicks enjoy coming to the rescue Mr. Devil Dog. 🙂

P.S. Don’t forget about the movie “Mean Girls.”

  2. I am hardly a religious scholar, but I sense you took a solid shot there Simon! Liked it although now I am worried; Satan has left me alone for sure.

  3. Hypatia, in response to your question, because I track from which countries are the readers of certain posts. Lurkers from the House of Islam are taking an intense interest in my Winning the Peace© series.

      1. “cold wars of religion.”

Somehow, I don’t think they will stay cold, Hyp..Secularist atheism is doing its best to wage lawfare; while “some like it hot”.

  4. I first briefed it to my Commanding General (CG). He liked it — a lot. The boys on Legacy SIte #2 panned it. Hmmm?

My CG’s last name is Neller. He went on to become the Commandant of the United States Marine Corps. His opinion is important to me.

      1. I was his Regimental Executive Officer (#2 guy), Regimental Commanding Officer (#1 guy), and his Division’s Inspector General (IG). So yes, I think we can safely say that he relied upon me. Perhaps we can even say he relied upon me heavily.

      2. I don’t doubt it….Hope he didn’t push you up the ladder too hard. Boot contacting with six wouldn’t be pleasant.

  5. He wanted to help me implement it, but we ran out of time. Long story but we were in the middle of a couple of raging wars at the time and were quite busy, as you may well imagine.

Then, I retired and went to work for Blackwater.

  6. About L2, I doubt if rodent is halal; mohammedans are probably turned off by the site’s emblem. As are the people from L1 who said they were devastated when I was banned, they would miss my stuff sooooo much—but can’t be arsed to come over and read me in the Mischief. (Yes I’m a tad bitter.)
