  1. I feel that way about my new residence in a wilderness preserve. It took me awhile to figure out how to deal with the wildlife- a doe and her 3 fawns- who were eating all the expensive landscape. Finally, I ascertained what they liked to snack on the most and put sections in the front and backyard of $1.98 plants where they gravitated to immediately as the weather up here gets into the 70s.

This morning as I was watching from my office window, the mom and her kids marched right across my front yard wagging their white bobtails and headed straight for the cheap seats. Yeah!

    1. You may or may not want to give this trick a try. The next time you get your hair ‘done’ ask if you can have a trash bag full of hair clippings. Spread that hair around the plants you do not want deer to eat.

      1. Giggle. This family is stopped by nothing so I finally gave in and created their very own snack bar so they’d leave the good stuff alone. Fingers crossed. So far it’s working.

Plus… to be honest, we get a charge out of watching them.
