If you want, it can last all week, or wait until Saturday – the actual date. (A post for the observed day will drop once I’m up and about tomorrow. Helper arrived sooner than I thought she would,)

Observed on 25 May, will also post over next weekend. History Channel says traditional date began on 30 May, 1866, because it isn’t a date associated with any particular battle of the War Between the States. The moment of remembrance at 1500/3:00 still supposedly holds.
