2019: Police shot 10 unarmed blacks and 19 unarmed whites. One of the unarmed blacks a female, if memory serves, was involved in some sort of love triangle within which was also the female cop who shot her.

Heard this dose of the truth two days ago on AMR – Col. Mac’s been deep-diving into the WaPo’s ‘Fatal Force’ database all week. Tucker Carlson (and Brett Baier) are worthy of our attention. Incidentally, the paper doesn’t trust its own data – they report only that the *rate* is still increasing, even though the number of incidents is declining. Media lies matter, too.

While we’re on the topic of anarchy and the total breakdown of society, I must discuss a video I saw on Tucker last night (I found the remote) covering the numerous riotings and lootings going on in Manhattan this week. This was my favorite:
Somewhere in upper Manhattan, there was a violent gang of WHITE teenagers rioting and looting local stores dressed in all their “Black Lives Matter” paraphernalia. Unfortunately, the small businesses they were destroying were primarily black-owned.
You can’t make this stuff up.

Gee, were they acting out of white guilt – because they *wanted* to be black, so they’d “matter”, too? Or were they acting out of “Gen Z” privilege, which says: “I’m special, so I can do what I want; and I don’t give a frick about anyone but me!” (How much was Soros paying them?)

Kids (as they are wont to do) get swept up with the moral trend of the day; facts be damned.
I wouldn’t be surprised if some of those vandals were Columbia students soaking either their parents or taxpayers for $60k a year. A good friend sent all three of his girls there and I am grateful they’re long gone.

Columbia was the place where Thomas Merton found faith, through one of his professors – in either philosophy or English – in the post-WWII era. Lo, how the mighty have fallen.

Most of the Ivies were founded by religious scholars because they were the most educated people of their day.
Students are free to abdicate religion, but I do mind if they forego academic thinking. The irony is that religious and intellectual thinking are often intertwined (unless you’re a physicist).
The Declaration of Independence is the most Christian document ever written.

The “big bang” theory is likely the most viable explanation, but as a Deist, I’d ask who can claim it wasn’t a part of a master plan?
Deists believe in a higher power but we’re not sure what that is and we don’t particularly care. We’re more interested in following the path of morality, ambition, and ethical behavior that “somebody” set forth. I was never able to identify my beliefs until I started reading the Founders. Many were Deists and look what they created!

Also, mourning the Ivies’ apparent abandonment of their moral and rigorously-intellectual foundations, in favor of identity-politics and a faux multiculturalism, which are treated as tantamount to theological tenets: Saddening, indeed.
