Tonight, I finally tried out a Thai restaurant in my neighborhood. It was the first time I had ever eaten Thai food. The sticky rice is in the little basket 🙂

FYI: You are allowed to roll the sticky rice into balls about the size of a golf ball and then dip that little ball into everything in sight.

You are correct. It wasn’t spicy at all. It was totally edible, but not very exciting. I will make a wilder choice next time I go 🙂

Lanna Thai is our favorite place about 15 minutes from our house. We look forward to their reopening for dine-in so we get takeout.

Some places are open, some are not yet.. They tried to open with customers having to reserve a day in advance, and that did not work for them. Takeout is fine. From one order of my favorite Pad Thai, I can get one dinner and two lunches.

Yup, that is one good thing about eating out at most places. You can get several meals from the large portions they give you, so it ends up being not as expensive as it seems.

For what it is worth Lanna was the northernmost kingdom of Thailand. Some historians believe the birthplace of modern-day Thailand was the first capital, Chiang Saen, of the Lanna kingdom. That capital of ancient Siam has been migrating south ever since to now arriving in Bangkok.
Lanna food is popular all over this country.

The name of the restaurant I went to tonight is the Blue Elephant in Wilbraham, MA. If the crowd there was anything to go by, it’s very popular.

I get the feeling that eyes have been opened by this fiasco. A world renowned epidemiologist from Yale whose name I cannot remember (Lol) was on Fox tonight. He said that the science clearly shows that hydroxychloroquine works. The truth will out.

It looks delicious and what I love to eat- a protein with plenty of fresh vegetables. I would eat Thai every night if available.
