When the whole army is defeated and the homeland is conquered, those who survived a supposed fight to the death are not our honorable servants, but a parasitic class of losers who would prefer to remain comfortable.”
Can anyone decipher this? Is he chastising those who fought for his freedoms but lost in the end? Was he too important to the republic to be wasted, lost and/ or ruined by doing the nasty hooking and jabbing himself?

Whatever he is saying, his attitude towards the military is horrifying. Really, really horrifying.
