As I mentioned on Slack, two of my neighbors refuse to take down their Trump/Pence signs. I do wish they would because it makes me so sad for what could have been. To add insult to injury, that jackass Rich Lowry wrote a column in NR about Trump’s lack of graciousness in defeat. Good thing that was my last issue!
ST and I were talking about the Don this week and we both agreed he was the greatest president in our lifetime (including the Gipper). A patriot, a true do-or-die individual indeed. I think neither he nor the public realized the pure viciousness of D.C. and the outrage incurred by an “outsider” coming in and making some significant progress against the Big State.
I fear for my country. I would only want to live in Europe if I were to leave and Angela Merkel’s brilliant immigration policy has ruined even this escape route for me!
