Occupation: Instigator

It occurred to me this morning that we can probably never have domestic tranquility and civil order again in the US, because we now have a substantial class of citizens whose entire raison d’etre , whose profession, is to propagate violence wherever any crowd assembles.

Remember those mysterious piles of bricks delivered in broad daylight to the venues where “spontaneous demonstrations”, would erupt when darkness fell, this past summer?

To you and me, it’s obvious they were out there by Antifa or its ilk, to make sure the crowd had projectiles with which to injure or kill the police and smash up private businesses.

To the Left, it’s equally obvious that they were put there by the police! to ensure that the “protesters” would use them as projectiles thus justifying brutality and arrest.

Whenever some hitherto unimaginable act of violence and destruction occurs now, both the Left and (since Wednesday, the Right) want to blame a false flag operation for the bad, murderous aspects of the incident—while applauding the stated impetus for the protest.

And who makes out like the bandits they are?
The professional agitators.

I just read a novel by Jess Waters, The Cold Millions, about the heyday of the IWW, the Wobblies. And more specifically, about the rôle played by undercover Pinkerton agents. They were being paid to make sure the Union advocates’ meetings and marches resulted in property destruction and/or murder. If you haven’t seen it, watch the movie The Mollie Maguires.

But to me, that’s the heart of it: they were being paid. Management could afford to pay them, labor could not. They came from the same class as the laborers, they weren’t motivated by any particular passion in favor of management. They wouldnta cared, in my opinion, which flag they operated under. These were men who loved and reveled in mayhem for its own sake. A dream come true for such men, that powerful interests would PAY them to injure others and destroy property, an inborn propensity which, in less tumultuous times, they would not have been able to indulge without becoming outlaws, pariahs and wanted men.

Such a class of people may now be operating in our country. They dont care whether their mission is to ensure that a BLM protest turns violent, or to ensure that a MAGA March turns violent. Someone is PAYING them to do what they love!

As long as this subset of citizens exists and flourishes, there can be no domestic tranquility in;the US.
