And I’m LMFAO! Ol’ Jo[K]e’s fuckin’ up right and , more importantly, Left. Way to go: piss off Canada and Israel on Day One!
And the mobs in Seattle, Denver, Portland: hey, Pal Jo[K]ey, it’s up to YOU now! Whatcha gonna do? Well? We’re waaaaaaaiting! Does your VP , Commie-la, still feel the riots shouldn’t stop?
Our Don is safe in Florida now, thank God. He is not responsible, and can no longer plausibly be blamed, for the ruination of our country which is proceeding apace. And neither can WE! Or rather he/we can be blamed, of course,; B. Hussein spent 8 years blaming every problem on GWB. But the fact is, now is now, and all these problems they fomented are squatting and defecating on Ol’ Jo[K]e’s doorstep.
Maybe he better put a posy in that mask, Y’know, one of those little sachets which people touchingly believed would protect them from the Black Plague. Cause the shit will soon be ankle deep. And HE ain’t gonna be able to get the funk outta DC.
(Oh, and “unity”? No thanks Creepy Joe, I ain’t snuggling’ ’ in under YOUR dirty ol’ overcoat.)
You have an e-mail that awaits you from me. On his first day, Biden’s announcement about the pipeline annihilated an important segment of my portfolio and I had to sell some of my most profitable stocks yesterday due to fear of losing every dime I have made in the past 24 months.
Today isn’t looking much better. I believe next week will be more of the same.
A lot of damage can be done in 4 yrs folks and I must say Biden is off to a very effective start!

I hold him – and the Repulsivecants/Demoncrats (Maj. Mac says ‘Republicrats’) – in utter contempt. He’s a modern-day Herod, in more ways than one. Today’s the anniversary of SCOTUS’s Roe v. Wade decision, 48 years ago. (Hyp, I know the pipeline cancellation peeved-off Canada; how’d the JoKer peeve-off *Israel*, already? Sheesh!

The Twitter account of our ambassador to Israel was changed to “Ambassador to Israel, the West Bank and Gaza”. clearly signaling a challenge to Israel in the WB AND a a willingness to treat w/ thePalestinian terrorists in control of Gaza. There was such an outcry they had to change it back. But the damage is done and their intent to sell out Israel is clear.

But you mustn’t think the Demonrats hate Jews! Oh no, it’s Trump who was the anti-Semite! The proof of that is how cleverly he covered it up, with his Jewish grandchildren and moving our embassy to Jerusalem….

The Dems don’t hate Jews because many of their most important donors and politicos are Jews.
Let’s look at Israel in 1949 when she was first established as a socialist state; I remember this distinctly because it was the cool thing in my day to live and work on a collectivist kibbutz during your gap year.
Here’s the problem:
Israel became a highly entrepreneurial, capitalist state AND a democracy with hawkish policies. In other words, they betrayed “the cause.”
Dems hate Israel.

Indeed, Liz, but not entirely unforeseen, perhaps, because the Street plays footsie (no relation to FTSE) with both sides of the aisle: Campaign donations, etc.

Bill Whittle’s latest, Buyer’s Remorse, is a great compendium of the first day’s effects on Biden’s supporters.

And may I add all of my Jewish friends hate Israel too. I broke off one of my longest and most cherished friendships (high school boyfriend and almost my husband) who allowed his daughter to marry a practicing Muslim living in Lebanon because I could not restrain myself from saying: “Are you an insane person? You have just encouraged your extremely bright, Columbia Phi Beta Kappa graduate to a life of living hell. Bad parenting!”
P.S. I don’t have kids so I normally avoid giving parents any advice; what do I know? I made an exception here.

“My Jewish friends hate Israel”…I know.
I think they’re afraid to take their own side. It’s like in Nazi Germany. There were some Jews who took the stance, “Of course I know what you mean about SOME Jews, but hey, I’M not like them, surely you can see that!” Most notably Irène Nemirovsky, whose memoirs from Auschwitz were published a couple of years ago. Turned out suckin’ up to Hitler and Goebbels didn’t save her from the camps. And: it never does. When will they learn?
In my opinion,Jew-hatred is unique among the bestial passions of humanity. (Which is almost enuf to make one believe the OT “chosen people” stuff.) Oh, it seemed like our country was the Ark! But, um, look at the hostility directed toward Jared Kushner, look at the outcry when Trump moved our embassy to Jerusalem (which every President since 1947 had promised to do!) and look at Biden’s instantaneous, one-minute-from-installation move to impugn Israel’s sovereignty.
Oh yes: we’re in for another one of those pogrom eras, and I fear for my husband and our daughter.

All believers in anything other than secular managerial progressivism will be targets. I’ve felt like there’s a bullseye on my forehead every time a Demoncrat’s been elected, for years now.

Yes, but I don’t think you can deny that anti-semitism, more specifically Jew-hatred, has been a particularly awful and murderous type of bigotry.

I certainly would not in any way do so, I’m rather surprised that you would think me capable or desirous of doing anything of that sort.

I didn’t mean to insult you dear Nanda. As I said I’m hypersensitized to anti-semitism.And I think, so far, in the world, it has been more murderous than antiChristian or antiCatholic bigotry.

Yes, demonstrably so…I recall, though, that the “Final Solution” was tested on mentally and physically ‘defective’ people, and the politically troublesome (amounting to about 5 million) before being so effectively deployed against the 6 million. Barbarism should make all of us sensitive, yes? I was struck earlier by a recurring cycle in the OT, that’s present in all of us – and illustrated vividly in the Pentateuch. Viktor Frankl’s work is where I first encountered the reference, with respect to those who survived – and those who didn’t – and why. No umbrage taken, and no offense meant, dear friend.

Self-contempt and a preference for the familiar-though-oppressive have dogged Israel since its *choosing* by God, let alone its national rebirths, and latest iteration today. These twin evils beset all humanity, and must be guarded against with vigilance.

Nanda and Hyp, I still believe this is political. Israel is a friend and protégé of the United States and that is her biggest flaw!
Not to mention… Bibi, who offends many peaceniks because he’s not afraid to kick ass. I think he found, after many frustrating years, a soulmate in the Don. I weep for him now as I do for my own country.

I agree and I weep. But, having been married to a “secret” Jew for many years now, I am highly sensitized to anti-semitism. You would not believe the comments we heard when we lived on Philadelphia’s Main Line. No,,people do not dislike Jews because of Israel . They dislike Israel because it is Jewish. C’est ça.
But also, in the Middle East, as its only democracy, Israel is also a stand-in for Western Civilization, now so universally reviled and hated.
O well. My little life is almost over. Whatever is to be the outcome of the present upheaval, I won’t see the conclusion. .Nunc dimmitis…

I also will add that much of the anti-Semitism we are seeing from Europe is directly related to their wonderful immigration policies. It is ironic that the PM of Germany allows in 800,000 Muslims to the European community. As an American WASP, I refuse to take the blame for the infestation of third world mind-sets.
Interesting how Germany, for over one century, never seems to get it right. France is not far behind either due to those wonderful banlieues outside Paris.

Interestingly enough, I grew up in Henry Ford’s old neighborhood (one of the most noxious anti-Semites in this country) and never heard a single remark about the 30% of the population who were Jewish. Don’t get me wrong- it was a pretty judgmental and snobbish arena but at least it was based upon a sense of meritocracy- where you were educated and what you did for a living. Nobody cared about your church or synagogue affiliations and so it is difficult for me to relate to what I know are very real experiences in your world. The biggest joke in my family (initiated by a Jewish family friend) at my wedding is that I actually had dated, let alone married a goy!

Admittedly, we’re all shaped by life circumstances and experiences, but we all see managerial progressivism, in the thoughts and policies of JRB, et al,, as a threat to both the US and her staunchest ally in the ME. No daylight amongst us….
