À Moi!

I am sooo angry today. I’m like someone hit by a shotgun shell. My BMD says you can’t sew up such a patient, there are just too many holes…I’m spewing blood ‘n’ bile all over any site that was ever willing to host me. I’m angry on a personal and political level.

I am become rage.

How’s your day, Simon, and the Ettes and Ites?

  1. Same. I hate my country. In such a short period of time Biden has accomplished this:

    1. Overruled the deportation of non-citizens who have committed crimes.
    2. Stopped the pipeline from crossing American borders.
    3. Permitted the already overworked VA hospitals to perform transgender surgery.
    4. Criticized Big Pharma (who for the most part exists only in the U.S. due to the enormous costs involved in R&D) for their “slow” roll-out of the Covid vaccine. Talked to my Pfizer friend last night who was one of many who rcvd enormous bonuses this year for working 24-7 to get this out so quickly (about 10 years early).

If Biden wants a recession, he’s gonna get one and I’ll lead the way. I am cutting as many services and consumer spending as I can.

  2. Here, I have no lasting city, so I’m more worried for the chastisement this new abortion/euthanasia-loving banana republic – with people I care for in it – will be undergoing; I am praying, of course, but have no time for the mile-a-minute machinations of the ringmasters/mistresses of this three-ring circus that used to be America. “I bite my thumb” to all of it.

    1. “No lasting city”….I can’t remember where (else) I just read that phrase. There speaks the mystic, the saint! Yes I should be giving it all up.

“They are not long, the days of love and laughter
      Joy, and desire, and hate—
I think they have no portion in us after
      We pass the gate.

They are not long, the days of wine and roses—
      Out of a misty dream
Our life emerges for a while, then closes
      Within a dream. “

      1. Not everything; family, friends, favorite hobbies, etc. are connections to the Good, the True, and the Beautiful (categories that transcend the body politic – and inspired the Founders.) Patient endurance attaineth to all things.” said Teresa of Avila.
