Angels in Massachusetts

It snowed today. I usually don’t mind shoveling, but because I don’t like coming home at night to a huge shoveling job, I hired a guy to do that for me. There are video cameras outside my house. This afternoon, two guys showed up and cleared out all of the snow on my driveway, front porch and back deck. I saw all of this happening on my phone, and just naturally assumed that it was the guy I hired and one of his guys. It wasn’t. The guy I hired showed up a little while ago and was surprised that everything was done. I have been scouring the videos to try to get a good look at the faces of the guys who were here this afternoon, but I can’t. They both were wearing hats, and kept their faces down and out of view of the cameras. So, I have no idea who performed this incredible act of kindness. Maybe the neighbors across the street? But I don’t want to ask them if it was them, because what if it wasn’t?

To whoever cleared the snow from my house this afternoon, thank you, a million times thank you, and God Bless you.
