“Steamed crab fresh from the ocean? How can you ask?”
When we were kids, our family and some of our extended family were staying for a week on Cape Cod. At one point, they had lobster for supper. My brother was 4 or 5 at the time. When he saw all those lobsters on the table, his eyes grew wide, and he said, “I am not eating that bug.” Then he ran out of the room. 🙂 I don’t know if my brother ever adjusted his view of shellfish, but I kind of feel the way he did about it. When I lived in Hawaii, they used to call lobster the cockroach of the sea. That didn’t make me more inclined to try it, though I did try it once. I don’t get what the big deal is. I have never tried crab, and probably never will, but that leaves more for Simon and those of his like mind 🙂
Ummmm, ummmmm….I could get used to all this fresh yumminess. Thanks for posting this! Does it taste as good as it looks?

I saw a sea urchin and sea star just under me while doing a 30 minute ocean swim. Sublime.
