Jesus promises us in Scripture that wherever two or three are gathered in His name, there He will be. Jesus is with is in the darkest times and the darkest places.
On a lighter note, I understand why you included Seattle and Portland, but you are being too hard on Detroit 🙂 From what I have seen on Fox News, BLM and Antifa have no presence in Detroit, because the people there won’t tolerate them. And, apparently, the people of Detroit have been very supportive of the police. They have a black police chief who appears from time to time on Fox News and is outspoken in his opposition to BLM and Antifa. I have never been to Detroit, but I really don’t think Detroit belongs in the same category as Portland and Seattle 🙂
