I think you are wrong here, Simon. Lots of people are becoming more aware all the time of the dangers of China. I keep saying this, because it is true: if you watched Fox, you would be more optimistic.

Not “crickets” if you follow sites like The Epoch Times on its various self-contained platforms, ST; Fox doesn’t go as far as these folk do, in my opinion.

All I heard 24/7/11 for 4+ years of the Trump administration was Russian collusion. I have heard not even a peep concerning the possibility of Chinese collusion with Big Guy Biden.
Things that make me go hmmm.

Oh no; Trump pressured China immensely which leads to the conspiracy theory about Covid. The CCP wanted to take him down and knew our political system well. He was blamed for not reacting sooner when Fauci was aware of Wuhan in 2017.
