I am inclined to think that he ought to be pardoned, and was disappointed when Trump didn’t pardon him, but as always, I bow to the judgement of those who know more about this than I do.

Well, Yāknowā¦.it depends on how much people should know. Do we really believe in transparency? Should we all know what our govāt is doing and can we handle it?
Did you hear Trump on Hannity last night? He was talking about the Russia probe, how he was told to stay out of it..āand maybe they were rightā, he said. Iād love to know whatās behind that remark. Maybe itāll be in his book.
Edward Snowden risked and I reckon lost everything. He thought, when he presented America with the proof of widespread surveillance of US citizens by the US govāt,ā¦well, thereād be hell to pay. But there wasnāt!
Iām beginning to think Watergate was the last time our citizenry could be shocked, mobilized. Remember Nixon had just been re-elected by a landslide, but, those tapes..EVERYBODY was roused. If thatās the case I reckon I have to be happy I lived it, even though it led to the awful, depressing Carter years.

Thank you, Hypatia š Do you have any ideas on why Trump didn’t pardon Assange? I was disappointed by that, and also by the fact that Trump didn’t do anything about Benghazi.
