  1. What gets me is the latest guidance for ā€œpregnant peopleā€. They should get the jab! Um, yuh, we haven’t yet had the vax for 9 months, so there is NO WAY they can know for sure how it may affect foeti.
As for me, I’ve already had both shots, so…Che sera, sera…

  2. I’m stocking up on Vitamin D and zinc – and trying to develop a taste for tonic water. Masks are back for all at church (via the bishop) for my diocese, but if that’s what it takes to worship w/ loved ones and friends, no biggie.

    1. I’ve been a big advocate of both zinc and D for years and I am hardly one of those ‘holistic’ types. I also add Biotin Forte (B complex) for hair, skin and nails.

  3. I should tell you that my BMD, yes an actual medical doctor, disagrees with me, feels that a vaccine which is not live can’t harm a foetus. He can’t wait to get the booster. And as I’ve said before he is my doctor and I have never known him to be wrong. I will take his advice, even if it seems counter-intuitive to me.

    1. Won’t nCOVID-19 just adapt to the boosters and survive to successfully invade those who can’t get the correct jab variant in front of the herd?

Will that not mean a lot of third world eldery men will die from Flu Manchu version 2.0xyz until if and when it finally peters out?

      1. Have seen some medicos/public health types who aren’t governmental – both in Great Britain and here – talk of the Flu Manchu becoming *endemic* and seasonal – like influenza – post “boosters” .

    2. I don’t mind admitting I’m still confused about the vaccines. I’m only concerned because of the time table that did not allow for testing future side effects as the FDA usually requires.

I think I’m more leery about the vaxes than the virus itself but this doesn’t mean I won’t change my mind when I decide to travel abroad again.
