Please be Careful

Joe Biden has completely destroyed our reputation as a financial and military power in a mere 48 hours! If you’re invested, it may be too late but as of 9:31 a.m. this morning I was out of a lot of stocks and saved myself 5 digit losses.

Be safe and cautious and wait.

    1. Really good point. I was in finance after my Army days, managing retirement accounts – IRA, 401(k)’s, 403 (b)’s, 529’s…..for a large brokerage house. I have removed myself from the market all together. No stocks, no funds, no portfolio at all. Why? I learned that it is rigged for the uber-wealthy. 2008 was proof..as are hedge funds, short sells, and buyouts. When 401(k)’s became 201(k)’s in 2008, that money did not disappear, it was just reallocated.

      1. I hear you but my husband found some steady dividend stocks and I allow myself one day stock that I monitor from 9:30 to the time I sell it. That has worked (there’s always a new flavor of the month) if one stays glued to the screen. Had a reasonable morning with my new favorite, sold it at a decent profit and now I’m done for the day. The key to trading a day stock is to take a $1500-2000 dollar profit and don’t get greedy.

  1. The investment market is challenging because there are far more variables to consider now.

Example: my new “flavor” turned in a spectacular quarterly earnings report that exceeded all projections and the stock dropped precipitously. My husband explained that traders took their profits and ran thinking this was merely an anomaly. It’s tough not to get depressed by this but the stock has “survived its success” and I made a nice profit today.

  2. P.S. It’s nice to have a fellow trader on board; because of the current volatility, I always welcome new insights.
