…of both sexes you trained to guard our Consulate in Herat, Afghanistan have been brutally murdered by Taliban thugs during our disastrous retreat?
It did not have to go down like this, man.

It sure as Hades didn’t hafta go down this way, ST. (I can’t bear to think about how many Afghans who helped us/fought to enter the 21st century have paid for their willingness with their lives.) Thank you, amigo y hermano! Many of us stateside won’t forget.

It is sickening. I can’t say what I think of those who want us to forget and look away from what is happening in Afghanistan. Biden and his crew have brought America to our lowest point in my lifetime. We must never forget what that man and his supporters have done to both Afghanistan and America.

No, it hasn’t been, and it never will be. I really wish that there were a way for you to watch Fox. If CNN and BBC are all you get, you are not getting a clear picture of where most Americans are at.

Retreat seems too mild for this strategic blunder orchestrated during the last two decades by our best and brightest.

The deep state, the ruling class, our betters who have thrown both Afghanistan and America under the bus.

I think it starts with ChiComs and trickles down by bribery and, at a minimum, implied threat starting at blackmail then quickly ratcheting up to where few have survived.

I think you are right. How else can we explain their behavior?

The Russians too but whomever it is, seems Hunter got in way over his head and America is paying the vick.

Robin attended an elite boys school in Edinburgh that has existed since the 5th century AD. This school was where boys were sent to be future leaders of Scotland, and beyond. He received an excellent excellent excellent education: Robin never went to college, but he was far better educated than the vast majority of college graduates, and his primary schooling had a great deal to do with that.
Anyway, the point is, Robin was educated from a very early age to be a member of an elite class, but I have never known anyone as hostile toward elites as Robin was. When he would talk about the ruling class, as Simon calls them, he would say things too shocking to repeat. I thought that I hated elites, until I met Robin. I often say that Americans are naive and too trusting, and that is true. Robin was not naive or trusting. I wonder if the unbelievable hostility toward elites he displayed was due to the fact that he knew them and understood them far better than most people do.
