      6. Most of the men and women on that site, and I include myself in this, are basically just talking. You actually know what you are talking about, and you have the guts to speak truth to power. That is a rare combination. Those who claim to support conservatism but really don’t will definitely view you as a threat, but you are prevailing, and will continue to prevail 🙂

      7. Don’t even joke! No, I think virtually all of them are bought and paid for operatives who don’t give an eff about you or anything. They just say what they are paid to say, and beyond that, they don’t care and they really don’t think about you at all.

        There is one unfortunate exception to that, as we all know 😦

      10. Says who? I love Southerners. I always have. I love everything about Southerners, and virtually all of the normal people I know in Western Mass also love Southerners: more than a few of them dream of moving down South, where they feel the people are more sane.

        The kinds of Northerners who hate Southerners also hate most Northerners, but most of them won’t admit it. Once in a while, one of them will admit it. For instance, some NYC leftist went on tv recently saying that she was afraid of the locals when she went on a trip to Long Island and saw people flying the American flag.

      16. I am not sure what you are talking about? Granted, we don’t get very many Southerners in Western Mass, but I knew plenty of Southerners in Alaska and Hawaii, and I loved all of them. One of my cousins moved to Georgia 30 years ago, and her son is now married to a nice Southern girl: they love it in Georgia. It was her husband’s idea to move down there, to escape the cold, but after a while the heat started to get to him, and he wanted to move back North, but she refused. She is very happy down South 🙂

      20. Ok, I knew that they were both Civil War generals: I totally knew that. Seeing as the South ended up losing the Civil War, I kind of figured these Civil War generals were on the losing side of the equation. I wasn’t totally ignorant of everything, I just don’t know enough to understand how all of this relates to what we are talking about?

      22. LOL 🙂 Yes, I think it always good, when my ignorance is caught out, to admit just how ignorant I really am 🙂

        Learning more about American history has always been something that I have meant to do, but so far I have been too busy with other things. I probably know more about American history than most women do, and that should scare all of us. Another reason why women should not be voting 🙂

      23. I am reflecting on what you said about Jeb Stuart types and Stonewall Jackson’s trigger pullers. I am still not sure what you meant, but I am pretty sure that most or all of the Southerners I have known are trigger pullers. Two of them were Marines: both of them were grunts. I dated one of them, and the other one took me scuba diving in Hawaii. We got along great. I hated scuba diving, but he and I had no problems getting along. I would love to know what you are talking about 🙂

      26. The guy who took me scuba diving in Hawaii was a Marine grunt whose father was a rice farmer in Tunica, Mississippi. He grew up farming rice, and then he joined the Marines and stayed in for 10 or 15 years? I can’t remember, but he served for a while. He was Southern as Southern gets, and he was so cool. He lived a few doors down from me, and he and I spent months talking, but he never asked me out. I think he had yellow fever, lol: I think he wanted to ask me out, but he was very tempted by Asian girls too, and that temptation won out. At any rate, he was so cool, and he and I had so much fun hanging out. 🙂

      33. Actually, I know that he wanted to ask me out, because when he found out that I was dating another guy (from Texas) he was not at all pleased. But, he and I had been talking for months, and he never asked me out, so after a while, I just gave up and moved on. But the last time I saw him, he wasn’t happy with me at all. But it wasn’t my fault.

      38. And, Simon, you would be very happy with my cousin politically. She is a Trump supporter, and she also told me once that she thinks people who get upset about the Confederate flag need to, in her words, “Get over it.” I agree.
