Well, tomorrow is it, the day which loomed over us for so long that we started to feel maybe it would never come.

The greatest president of our lifetime, dragooned ignominiously back to that glitzy Gotham for which he did so much, to face humiliation and obloquy.

So my plea to you, readers, followers, Ettes, lurkers—is that you direct your prayers and /or good thoughts toward Trump tonight, and tomorrow. Put all other thoughts aside and focus on willing him peace, comfort, fortitude, dignity.

He MUST come through this, for our sakes.

If he doesn’t:

“ What a fall was there, my countrymen! Then I and you, and all of us fell down, Whilst bloody treason flourished o’er us.”

My heart is breaking tonight. And so every American’s should be.

  2. The American Republic founded in our Constitution created a nation that can only be torn asunder from within and our many enemies (e.g. L1.2) know this. It appears from abroad to yours truly that only one race of Americans can create riot and mayhem yet always remain the victim. This happens over and over for a reason and has been one of the several long games of the various forces of darkness that are now getting the upper hand in the motherland.

    Sidebar: Is it now a Prog talking point to call Florida the new capital of the Confederacy? If not, please do not give them this or any other good ideas.

      Yes, it is. I saw a clip the other day of Bill Maher talking with Fran Lebowitz. Bill was saying that Florida is a pretty good reflection of America. According to Bill Maher, Florida has Southerners, Northerners, Immigrants, Jewish people, pretty much everybody. Fran Lebowitz would have none of that. She just shook her head and said “It’s the Confederacy.”

      The level of delusion makes my mind reel.

      1. It is not delusional in the sense that it is designed to tear America asunder. Obvs their are 10s if not 100s of millions of useful idiots. Many display fine knowledge of English grammar on L!

      2. Yes, it is intended to tear America asunder. I watched the entire video that I just linked to in another comment: this woman has ideas that, it seems to me, are only shared by people who rarely leave NYC and have no clue what the rest of America is like. I say that as someone who lives in Massachusetts. Even in Mass, you would be hard pressed to find someone as delusional as this Fran woman is.

      5. Fran Lebowitz is a leftist writer from NYC. I have never read anything by her, and only know of her existence because she appears on Bill Maher from time to time, but she is considered very brainy by leftists. Here is the clip I was talking about: money shot: 1:14:30-1:15:10

    1. I remember Liebowitz from ages ago. She was a wannabe Nora Ephron, wrote short comic essays. But she never really made it, and now she’s just another old Prog scold.
