  1. This book is loosely based on a time when I had gotten out of the US Marine Corps and was farming black pepper in Costa Rica. Please buy this before Chistmas while it is still on discount.

  6. Just a heads up: I have attempted several times to buy this book, but the Smashwords website doesn’t seem to be very good. Apparently, you have to open an account to buy the book. Every time I fill out the form to open the account, it won’t go through, and there is no explanation about why it won’t go through.
