No Empathy Here

I’m horrified that Joe Biden is risking 5,000 American lives to save those who refuse to help themselves. Where are the types of men and women who won our Revolutionary War? Not in the Middle East for sure and if any one of you watched Eastwood’s film American Sniper, you would have witnessed a Muslim mother smuggling an AK-47 to her 8 yr-old son to take down a nearby platoon of 200 American Marines.

I would have shot her myself. So would Susan B. Anthony, Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Alice Paul.

I couldn’t care less what happens to these people. Anyone understand what our Patriots had to suffer to win the war against the mightiest military in the Western world without food, clothing or proper weaponry? We did have the greatest general in military history, however and that made all the difference.

In other words, I’m going on record with an incredibly “un-woke” remark: There is such a thing as a superior culture.

  1. I don’t like this either, Liz. Perhaps for different reasons; be that as it may, Biden is replaying the scenes in Saigon he helped to create. I have nothing but contempt for the incomprehensible back-and-forth actions of this demented man who’s playing with the lives of our Marines and soldiers – and others – like a yo-yo on a string.

  2. I’m not sure what you’re getting at. Should we try to get any Afghans who may have aided the US to safety? That’s OK with me. But, Y’know, why couldn’t we do it covertly, BEFORE we announce our withdrawal? I’m ok with getting outta Afghanistan, the “graveyard of empires” as it has been called. But just decide in advance, ok, what and whom do we wan5 to salvage? And then rescue those people all the while saying publicly that we are NEVER leaving, so that when we do leave, we have nothing left there to lose. I mean really, this is basic playground shit.

  3. Frankly, I just don’t want to fight wars in the Middle East anymore. All the blood and treasure we have spent there should be used to protect ourselves. I still can’t get over the fact bin Laden was on the “list” years before 9/11 (George Tenet knew immediately who was responsible after the WTC collapsed) and we found him. Unfortunately, that discovery interrupted one of Clinton’s golf games.
