Caitlyn Jenner?

I am all for Caitlin Jenner, and I totally support her gubernatorial campaign. Not knowing who else will be running, I don’t know if I would vote for her, but I think what she is doing is fantastic. She stands up to those who want biological boys to compete in girls’ sports, and she supports President Trump. That is good enough for me. I never really gave Caitlyn Jenner a second thought until now, but I am very impressed with what I have seen so far. Yes, she is a little bit crazy, but she seems to be a lot less crazy than a lot of other people in California 🙂

  1. Ever since Ahnold, I distrust celebrities running for high-visibility office. (Not to mention that Bruce is living out a delusion.). Good luck to him, though.

    1. I totally agree with you that he is delusional, but most people in California-most people, actually- are delusional is some way or another 🙂 She/he has so far exhibited an independence that I find refreshing. A transgender person who is willing to go against the transgender crowd? I am all for that. Like I said before, I don’t know that I would vote for Catilyn Jenner, but I think what she is doing is great. Anyone who is willing to speak truth to power is great.

  2. Ok, Caitlin just did an interview with Hannity. She is pro-law enforcement, pro-border wall, pro-religious liberty, pro-business, and-I loved that she mentioned this-she is against high speed rail. I was impressed with how she did in the interview.

As far as referring to her as a she, this is how I look at it: I try to have a live and let live attitude. I have no problem stating publicly that people with gender dysphoria are delusional. If a trans gender person asks me what I think, I will tell that person as gently as possible that I believe he or she is delusional. But most of the time, they won’t ask what I think, and it’s really none of my business. I am happy to call people what they would like to be called, as long as it’s either he or she. When it gets into ze and all the rest of it, forget it: I refuse to go along with that, because it’s an unreasonable amount of effort to expect from people. Also, when people try to make it illegal to call people names they don’t want to be called, I won’t go along with that either. The government should not be involved in this in any way.

Say what you will, but Caitlyn Jenner has guts of steel. It would have been so easy for her to run at some point as a leftist on a leftist agenda, in California she could have been easily elected on that agenda, and she would have been celebrated by the MSM. For her to run as a Trump supporter on a conservative agenda takes guts of steel. We need more people with that kind of bravery. We should appreciate them when they come along. They will never be perfect, but we shouldn’t need people to be perfect in order to appreciate them. None of this is saying that anybody has to vote for anybody-I don’t know that I would vote for her-but credit where it is due. She deserves a great deal of credit for what she is doing.
